And yet, while we’re often looking out there for something new, we forget to look back and appreciate the richness of what we already have. Sometimes, the answers we’re looking for are closer than we think.

One More Seat began with the image of a dragon formed from multiple red stools - the kind you often see on sidewalks across Vietnam. Its colorful 'scales' resembled bursts of fireworks in the sky during national celebrations. But it wasn’t just a physical creation; it was built from my own memories tied to those red stools. I believe everyone carries their own image of that dragon, shaped by personal experiences.
Alongside the red dragon are several others in various colors, materials, and shapes, each with their own unique 'scales'. Every of them represents a different kind of memory - perhaps you might see a part of yourself in them...
...or perhaps in something else.
Exhibition at
Vietnam Festival of
Creativity & Design 2024
Was launched by RMIT University Vietnam in 2019. It serves as a platform for creative engagement, featuring exhibitions, workshops, talks, seminars, tours, and competitions. The festival aims to establish a creative belt and support the expansion of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in Vietnam.
